Calamos Investments Named “Best Overall Fund Group” of 2022

Calamos Investments was named Best Overall Fund Group at the Refinitiv Lipper Fund Awards on Thursday.

The Leading global asset manager was named Best Overall Small Fund Family Over Three Years at the 2022 Refinitiv Lipper Fund Awards, which provides an “independent and compromised assessment” of funds around the world.

Refinitiv Lipper is recognized internationally for its objective criteria, and is considered highly prestigious.

Calamos was founded in 1977 by Greek-American John P. Calamos, Sr., who is considered one of the most prominent financial experts worldwide. He currently serves as Chairman, and Global Chief Investment Officer of Calamos Investments.

Calamos investments specializes in risk-management and investing in convertible securities and liquid alternatives. Clients include major corporations, pension funds, endowments, foundations and individuals, along with their financial advisors and consultants.

Of the award, Calamos President and CEO John Koudounis stated that it “underscores the importance of this founding principle and the breadth of our investment talent.”

Calamos Investments, which began on Michigan Avenue in Chicago, is a lead sponsor of the Chicago Bulls. The firm is the first company to have its logo on the stadium floor. While Calamos also has offices in New York, San Francisco, Milwaukee and the Miami area, continuing to strengthen roots in Chicago is a long-time priority for the firm.
