The Complete List of Oscar Nominations for 2021

Nominations for 93rd Academy Awards were announced Monday showing that it will be the most diverse Oscars ever, with nine of the 20 acting nominees from non-white backgrounds.

And two women were nominated for Best Director – the first time more than one woman has been shortlisted for that prize in the awards’ 93-year history.

Seventy women received a total 76 nominations, according to the Academy, a record for any given year.

Two women, Emerald Fennell and Chloé Zhao, were nominated in the directing category in the same year for the first time.

Zhao is the first woman of color to be nominated in the category.

Greeks Nominated in the 2021 Academy Awards

The Greeks who are nominated for the 2021 Oscars are Phaedon Papamichael for the photography direction of Aaron Sorkin’s “Trial of 7 in Chicago” and George Lambrinos for the editing of “The Father” by Florian Zeller.
