The well-regarded publication Condé Nast has published the names of the winners in its competition “Top 30 Resorts in Europe: Readers’ Choice Awards 2020,” featuring six world-class hotels and resorts in Greece.
Long considered a top travel destination for luxury travel the world over, Greece tops the list with the six resorts featured, with France and Italy following with five.
There are also three luxury hotels from Cyprus listed in the Condé Nast competition results. The venerable travel publication is widely considered to be the top source for information on luxury international travel.
World-class hotels in stunning locations such as Messinia, in the Peloponnese, along with Mykonos, Crete, Halkidiki, and Corfu are ranked on the list of establishments which most impressed the well-traveled readers of the international travel magazine.
The Romanos, a Luxury Collection Resort in the Peloponnese, is the highest-ranked Greek hotel on the list, at eighth on the list of 30 such establishments. The resort, located among olive groves along the cosmopolitan coast of Messinia, incorporates the stunning landscape and the traditional hospitality of the Peloponnese into its accommodations.
