Envolve Presents Seventh Annual Awards to Greek Entrepreneurs

 

On Monday, July 20, Envolve Entrepreneurship announced the four winners of the 7th Envolve Award Greece, a competition that awards start-ups and early-stage businesses in Greece. Hosted by TV personality Sakis Tanimanidis, the award ceremony took place in Athens and was broadcast live through the services offered by Chorus Call Hellas.
This year’s winners are Collaborate Healthcare, Finclude, MOJOOLS and Rodi Pharmaceuticals, bringing the total number of winners since the start of the program to 31. The winners are active in a wide range of industries such as Health Technologies, Financial Services, Fashion and Pharmaceuticals.
The Envolve Award Greece, (former Greek Entrepreneurship Award), was instituted in 2012 by the Libra Group on behalf of the Greek Initiative.
Envolve’s mission rests on three main pillars: education, resources and awards. The non-profit organization provides education for start-up and early-stage businesses, leveraging partnerships that increase the availability of entrepreneurship resources.
The four winners of the competition will receive interest-free financing, mentorship, and business support services from the Envolve partner network. The winners were selected by the jury from among ten business proposals that had prevailed in the earlier stages of the evaluation process.
The event was attended only by the finalists and speakers in keeping with the government’s public health directions. The ceremony was held with the kind sponsorship of ATRAKTOS, Chorus Call Hellas, EENE, Red Bull, TYCO and Fotokiklosi SA.
The ceremony was hosted by government government representatives and business leaders: Spyridon – Adonis Georgiadis, Minister of Development and Investment, Christos Dimas, Deputy Minister of Research & Technology, Leonidas Christopoulos, General Secretary of the Presidency of the Government, Peggy Antonakou, General Manager of NA Melina Taprantzis, Founder of Wise Greece, Fotis Karydas, journalist and communications consultant, Jimmy Athanasopoulos, Greece Representative of Libra Group Social Responsibility and Chairman of Envolve Entrepreneurship.
Steve Vranakis, Chief Creative Officer at the Government of the Hellenic Republic, Peggy Antonakou, General Manager Southeast Europe at Google, and Alexandros Nousias, Country Director of Envolve Entrepreneurship in Greece, were also on hand for the event.

For a second consecutive year, the public had the opportunity to vote for their favourite finalists through the “#GetEnvolved Awards”. The winners of these cash prizes are: “Parkaround,” receiving a check for 3,000€. “MOJOOLS,” receiving a check for 2,000€ and “Spaceprk” receiving a check for 1,000€.

MOJOOLS: Mojools is a fine jewelry brand that gives its clients the ability to become the creators of their own, custom jewellery.
The company has designed a unique, patent-pending, mechanism by which removable ornaments (“Mojools”) can easily be attached to rings, bracelets, pendants and earrings. Mojools presents a new type of jewelry which offers unprecedented customization possibilities.

Rodi Pharmaceuticals: Rodi Pharmaceuticals operates in the fertility healthcare sector having developed a series of innovative products that address female infertility. The products, which comprise mainly natural ingredients, are the result of many years of clinical trials.
Rodi Pharmaceuticals’ upcoming product lines, which are at the final research stage, include products for the enhancement of male fertility, as well as prescription drugs for the regulation of immune and metabolic disorders.
