A relatively large wildfire broke out in Greece‘s Achaea region, near Patras, in Western Greece on Monday.
The fire broke out at approximately 13:35 local time on Monday in an area covered with low vegetation and cultivated land.

A strong presence from Greece’s fire service, including forty men, fifteen vehicles, and two aircraft has been operating in the region to avoid any further expansion of the fire.
The fire has not been extinguished as of this time, but there are no reports of endangered villages or settlements in the broader area of Larissu.
According to the daily map issued by Greece’s Civil Protection for tomorrow, Tuesday, no region in the country will face what they term as severe danger of forest fires or wildfires.
