Gabrielle Carteris and most of the rest of the original cast of “Beverly Hills, 90210” are attached to a reboot of the show being developed by CBS Television Studios.

So far, Shannen Doherty and Luke Perry have not yet been confirmed, but Tori Spelling, Jennie Garth, Jason Priestley, Ian Ziering, and Brian Austin Green are all on board. CBS Studios noted that it is still very early in the development process, so Doherty and Perry may still sign up.

Though the show is in development by CBS, it is being pitched to different networks and streaming services. The original series, developed by TV legend Aaron Spelling, ran for 10 years (1990-2000). It was rebooted by the CW in 2008 as “90210”, where it ran for five seasons.

Though Carteris has had acting gigs since 90210, she has spent the majority of the past few years as the President of the SAG-AFTRA union, lobbying for performers’ rights. It will be interesting to see what direction this reboot chooses to follow if the project comes to fruition.
