Thousands of people, locals and tourists, gathered in the center of the city of Thessaloniki to watch the military parade to commemorate ”OXI Day”, on the occasion of Italy’s invasion in Greece on October 28, 1940.

Members of local cultural organisations participated in the parade

Greek civilian groups from all over the country along with military units, including armored vehicles, tanks, infantry and special forces, marched in front of the President of the Hellenic Republic, Prokopis Pavlopoulos and the President of Italy, Sergio Mattarella.
