Greece's PM Tsipras Visits Fire-Stricken Mati

Tsipras meets residents of Mati on Tuesday

Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras visited the fire-stricken area of Mati on Tuesday to inspect the progress of work on restorations of the damage.
It was his second visit to the Greek resort after the fire that claimed at least 97 lives on July 23. The first time, a few days after the disaster, he went unexpectedly, early in the morning, without the presence of cameras.
This time, accompanied by top ministers and Regional Governor of Attica, Rena Dourou, he met residents and heard their concerns about the restoration effort.
