According to the popular travel magazine, Travel and Leisure, Santorini’s Oia has made their list of the Top 6 Most Charming Villages in Europe.
Oia is a well-known scenic village on the famous volcano island that offers amazing views of the caldera from its streets made up of quaint white-washed buildings with colorfully painted doors and windows and cave houses carved into the caldera itself – all from 330 ft above sea level.
The village is located on the west edge of Santorini and is a favorite destination for tourists who are enchanted by its narrow pathways, winding streets and 300 stairs carved intot the calders, leading down to the village’s port below.
