Magnitude 5.1 Earthquake Strikes off East of Kos Island


Reports say a magnitude 5.1 earthquake has struck the area east of Kos island, near Turkey.
The earthquake occurred at 10:42 am on Tuesday morning.
The epicenter was spotted near the Turkish coast and the focal depth was estimated at 10 km.
The earthquake was felt on the island of Kos. There were no reports of injuries or damage.
A 6.6 magnitude earthquake claimed two lives and caused widespread damage on the island last month.
