'Love Slayer': The New Novel by Award Winning Greek Journalist Angeliki Nikolouli

nikolouli_love-slayer“Love Slayer” is the new novel by television host and investigative journalist Angeliki Nikolouli, released on November 7, 2016 by Kastaniotis publishing house.
The book presentation will take place on Monday, November 28 at Olympia Hall at Zappeion Mansion. Other than Nikolouli, the book will be presented and discussed by former citizen protection minister and penologist Yiannis Panousis, film director Panos Kokkinopoulos, psychologist/sociologist Manousia Kypraiou and renowned newspaper editor Christos Pasalaris.
The book is a thriller about a cosmopolitan, charming man who oscillates between dark and light. The persons and roles in the story change with unique mastery.
The story moves from Athens, Ithaca and Santorini to Vienna and Lake Hallstatt. It is based on true events and unravels as a thread that follow a bloody trail.
About the author
Angeliki Nikolouli was born in Pyrgos of Ilia. She has worked for almost 30 years as a journalist in newspapers (Apogevmatini, Eleftheros Typos, Ethnos), in magazines (Epikaira, Eikones) and on television (MEGA, SKAI, ALTER, ALPHA).
Nikolouli became known after bringing to light the case of illegal wire tapping of politicians and other prominent names of Greek society by the National Intelligence Service.
The documents she presented led her to testify as a key witness to the Parliamentary Committee. As an investigative reporter, Nikolouli is best known for contributing to the arrest of the notorious serial killer of Thessaloniki and Drama, Kyriakos Papachronis, and the serial killer of the southern and northern suburbs of Athens, Spiros Beskos.
Since 1995 the journalist has been successfully hosting a live TV show “Light in the Tunnel,”. Her show has contributed to solving 18 criminal cases. Nikolouli has been awarded by the European Union and several organizations for her TV show and contribution in finding missing persons and solving cases.
More specifically, she has been honored with awards from twenty-five social organizations, from senior officers of the Hellenic Police and the European Union. For her contribution to the community, she was nominated Goodwill Ambassador for Tennessee by Governor Bill Haslam and her work has been included twice in the Guinness World Records.
