17-Year-Old Dimosthenis Michalentzakis Takes Gold in 100m Butterfly S9, Sets New Paralympic Record

Dimosthenis Michalentzakis has set a new record for the Paralympic games in the event of 100m Butterfly S9.
The 17-year-old clinched first place and a gold medal for Greece with his time of 59.27.
Afterwards the young athlete dedicated his gold medal to his sister who travelled to Rio on her own dime to support her brother at the Paralympics.
Federico Morlacchi took silver with a time of 59.52 and bronze was won by Tamas Sors from Hungary with the time of 59.85.
