The Greek Orthodox Community of Melbourne and Victoria will aid its members complete the census form, following a decision by the community’s board of directors. The assistance for the census is set to take place on August 9.
Anyone in need of help filling out the digital or printed census form, can bring the letter containing the 12-digit code sent by the Census Office or the printed form so that the community staff and board members, as well as the volunteers can help in completing the process.
The Community points out the great importance of the Census and stresses the need for everyone to participate and make their Greek nationality clear. The results of the census can and will change the government’s policy and Australia’s future, as well as the policies regarding Greek-Australians.
