The locals of Mykonos prepared to welcome their first visitors for the Easter vacations with a unique spectacle on Sunday, on day before the beginning of Holy Week.
On Sunday morning, April 24, more than 400 amateur dancers of various ages danced the traditional “hasapiko” dance, leaving their mark for the beginning of the tourist season.
After the dances, there was a traditional feast with music.
The purpose of the feast, which took place for the third year in a row, is to feature the tradition and culture of the island.
