Portugal's PM Costa to Visit Greece Monday

Portugal‘s Prime Minister Antonio Costa will pay an official visit to Athens on Monday to support Greece at this critical time for the bailout program review and the refugee crisis.
The Portuguese prime minister and Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras are expected to sign a joint declaration on the future of Europe and the strengthening of cooperation between the two countries.
On the sidelines of Costa’s visit, Portuguese Foreign Minister Augusto Santos Silva will meet with Greek Alternate Minister for Migration Policy Yannis Mouzalas.
During the European Union summit on February, Costa sent a letter to Tsipras and other leaders of EU member states to inform them that Portugal is ready to receive up to 6,000 refugees from Greece in addition to those Lisbon has already agreed to receive.
