A new and relatively unknown company from Karditsa, Greece is claiming all the quality and taste awards at international water competitions.
The 26th Berkeley Springs International Water Tasting Competition in West Virginia – one of the most prestigious and longest running water tasting competitions held throughout the world – declared Best Tasting Bottled Water in the World 2016, to Theoni Water USA. Theoni prevailed claiming victory over 27 other entries and also placed in Berkeley’s packaging category.
Theoni All Natural Artesian Water – The Greek AHB group, has been awarded Gold and 1st place for Superior Taste Awards, throughout Europe for the past three years consecutively beating several hundred bottled waters from across the globe.
Theoni’s victories include the Goldener Preis 2016 out of Germany and the latest victory steaming from the United States
According to Giannis Lelis, the General Manager of AHB Group — the company that bottles the water — “Theoni” is the most recent water that has made it in five international competitions. The water was named after the homonym fairy, who according to the myth, protected the fountain in Agrafa.
Theoni Natural Artesian Water – a 6 million euro investment – was founded by the AHB Group in Karditsa, Greece –in 1996 by Vasilis Tselios and associates. Tselios’s dream of bringing the award winning water to the Americas in 2013 is now a reality and with this win, also marks Theoni’s launch by Amazing Waters, LLC. bringing – Theoni Water USA, into the United States market.
