German FinMin Wolfgang Schaeuble Brushes Aside, Again, Need for Greek Debt Relief

Wolfgang-Schaeuble
German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble said he believes the bailout review for Greece will be completed by Easter or the end of April.
He also said there are no reasons at this time to consider making decisions regarding debt relief.
“There is no strong argument for members of the German parliament why they should focus on Greek debt relief,” said Schaeuble in the aftermath of the Eurogroup meeting,
Mr. Schaeuble said that the loans made to Greece are structured in such a way so the country won’t face problems servicing interest or loan repayments until 2025. Therefore, there is no need for any decision to be made right now on debt relief.
