A Greek law student has been named the world’s best oralist.
Athanasios Plexidas, a law student at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, was named the best oralist at the Manfred Lachs Space Law Competition held in Jerusalem, Israel between October 13 and October 15. The annual law competition is organized by the International Institute of Space Law.
The National and Kapodistrian University of Athens claimed the second spot for the best team in the competition after losing to the University of Mississippi in the final. The Greek team had secured a place in the competition’s finals in Jerusalem after winning the European competition earlier in the year.
The three member team included undergraduate students Plexidas, Maria Vasilaki and Marianthi Koutri.
