Greece's Transitional Prime Minister Thanou to be Sworn in at 8pm Thursday

After political leaders failed to form a coalition government from the present parliament, the President of the Republic Prokopis Pavlopoulos has called Mrs Thanou to be sworn in, She will be the first woman prime minister in Greek history.
The inauguration will take place at 8:00 pm on Thursday and the transitional government will be inaugurated on Friday morning.The established ritual of handing over and receiving the ministries by the departing and the new ministers will follow and after that the presidential decree that the Parliament is disbanded will be posted on the door of the House.
After that, the President will officially announce the elections, with the most likely date being September 20.
According to information from anonymous sources in the Maximos Mansion, Giorgos Chouliarakis, who participated in negotiations with lenders, will be transitional finance minister. Petros Molyviatis will take the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Defence Ministry will probably go to Ioannis Giackos and government spokesperson will be Rodolfos Moronis.
Antonis Manitakis is most likely the transitional Interior Minister and Antonis Roupakiotis the Minister of Labor. Both politicians served as ministers in the New Democracy-PASOK-DIMAR coalition government of 2012.
Nikos Christodoulakis will likely be appointed transitional Development Minister and Antonis Makridimitris Minister of Administrative Reform. Dimitris Papangelopoulos will be Minister of Justice, Frosso Kiaou will take the Ministry of Education and Alkistis Protopsaltis will be transitional Minister of Tourism.
