The Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT) released data showing a 19.1% increase in the number of museum visitors across Greece in March. Furthermore, the report noted that museum revenues also increased by 14.7%, compared to the same month in 2014.
During the first quarter of 2015, a 12.1% increase was recorded in the number of museum visitors, while revenues increased by 21.4%.
According to ELSTAT’s calculation, archaeological sites across Greece had 30.1% more visitors in March 2015 and the sites’ revenues increased by 16.9% during the same month.
