Six hundred and thirty three more immigrants returned to their countries of origin, in March, according to the Greek Ministry of Public Order.
The police report states that 271 undocumented immigrants were deported, after being found to be living in Greece without the correct documentation.
Meanwhile, the voluntary repatriation program organized by the Ministry of Public Order in collaboration with the International Organization for Migration returned 362 people to to their native countries by air, most of the cost being covered by the European Commission’s Return Fund.
Greece has now repatriated a total of 41,510 immigrants since August 2012.
