“Ecology of Dance” Maria Alexea’s Exhibition Opens

maria-alexeaOn Thursday November 21 the photography exhibition by Maria Alexea opened and will run until December 6. The exhibition is hosted at the Greek General Consulate in New York.

Only four words can describe the exhibition entitled, “Ecology of Dance,” they are: harmony, freedom, strength and beauty.

Maria Alexea is a very well-known artist. She has studied music and cinema as well as presenting a great number of painting and photography exhibitions around the world. Her great inspiration comes from nature, which is the central point in her work.

She is also inspired by ancient Greek history. Her photos show gods, heroes and nymphs dancing. Their dance symbolizes the battle for life.
