Andrew Demetriou is currently president of the Australian Football (AFL) consisting of 18 professional teams, with approximately 50,000 members in each. This league has the biggest influence on the entire continent. The revenue is estimated to billions of dollars only from AFL television rights.
Furthermore, according to this year’s review from The Australian Financial Review, the most powerful man is Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott, and the second one is the governor of the Central Bank, Glenn Stevens.
