The Greek Restaurant “Funky Gourmet,” situated in Athens, has made it on the list of the top ten restaurants in the world for 2013, as it was announced by the well-known travel website TripAdvisor.com.
The restaurant that hit the top of the list is the “Maison Lameloise” which is situated in Burgundy, France. This classification is based on customer critics.
According to “Travelers’ Choice for the finest dining restaurants” second comes “Colicchio & Sons Main Dining Room” in New York and third, restaurant “Le cinq” in Paris.
“The classification of the list is based on the number of critics that have been made by restaurant customers recently, as well as the total amount of critics, and how many of those critics were positive towards the restaurant,” says Hayley Coleman, Senior PR Consultant.
The Greek restaurant “Funky Gourmet” is ranked 6th among the best ten in the world, following the Spanish “El Celler de Can Roca” in Gerona, and “Caprice” in Hong-Kong. Greek restaurant “Funky Gourmet” is also ranked 4th among the European restaurants that can be found on the TripAdvisor top ten list.
In the list of the top ten best restaurants in the world for 2013, are also included the British “La Manoir Aux Quat’Saisons”, the Italian “Cum Quibus”; the Brazilian “Voila Bistrot”; and the restaurant “Passion” that is situated in Dominican Republic.
