Greek President Karolos Papoulias Meets With Serbian Officials

Greek President Karolos Papoulias will meet with Serbian officials in Belgrade on Tuesday.
Papoulias will meet with Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic, Prime Minister Ivica Dacic, Parliament Speaker Nebojsa Stefanovic and Serbian Orthodox Church Patriarch Irinej, said the Greek embassy.
An official welcome will be organized in front of the Palace of Serbia, after which Papoulias will have a closed meeting with the Serbian president, Nikolic’s office said in a release.
Afterwards the delegations of Serbia and Greece will also have a meeting, which will be followed by an exchange of medals between the presidents.
According to a release issued by the Greek Embassy, Nikolic will present Papoulias with the Order of the Republic of Serbia, while Papoulias will decorate Nikolic with the medal of the Grand Cross of the Order of the Redeemer.
The two presidents will then address the media.
After the talks with Dacic and Stefanovic, Papoulias will appear at an official dinner in his honor hosted by Nikolic, said the Embassy.
On Wednesday, Papoulias will attend a Greek-Serbian business forum organized by the Greek Embassy at the Hyatt Hotel.
After this, Papoulias will meet with Patriarch Irinej.
