Melbourne Turns ‘Red’ As Olympiacos Fans Celebrate Victory

On Friday, May 18, Olympiacos team members were received as gods in Melbourne and their loyal fans followed them in every public appearance they made showing their love and admiration. Even miles away from Piraeus, the Greek team felt like home in the big Australian city where it traveled a few days ago.

Olympiacos activities continued into Friday in Australia, where the team traveled for the friendly game with Melbourne Victory in Etihad Stadium, which is planned for Saturday at 7:30pm (12:30 Greek time). Two big delegations of Olympiacos visited the Love Care Foundation, which supports children with special needs.

The winners also visited the Alphington College, where hundreds of young Greek people study. They were warmly received in every visit they made.

They took photos with their fans, spoke with them and expressed their gratitude for the people’s admiration.

Today, the team completed their last training in preparation to play Melbourne Victory.
