Terrorist organisation Sexta Protesters claimed responsibility for the murder of journalist Sokratis Giolias, according to a statement they sent to the newspaper Ta Nea. According to officials an unknown man called the newspaper and indicated the specific place where the daclaration was left. Two writers went to the location and found a cd which had a seven page text concerning the murder of journalist Sokratis Giolias.
The writers of the text justify the murder of the journalist using offensive wording as well as to describe other journalists and publishers such as P. Kwstopoulos, Themos Anastasiadis, Makis Triantafullopoulos, Nikos Xatzinikolaou, George Kouris and others. They also offer threats to numerous police officers, prosecutors, marshals and social officers in the prison sector.
