Phedon Papapmichael after finishing shooting Oliver Stone's last picture, W. , is now directing a new movie called "Arcadia Lost". The movie takes place in Greece and New York, and is expected in theaters in 2009.
The movie which deals with the importance of a single vote in a US election is produced by 1821 Pictures, a company owned by Terry Dougas and Paris Kasidokostas.
The Los Angeles Greek Film Festival (LAGFF) kicks off June 25th at the Egyptian Theater with the screening of a newly restored print of "Zorba" and will end June 29th with the screening of "Little Greek Godfather," based on an autobiographical short story by Nicholas Papandreou.
