Recipe: Zuchini Fritters Filled with Halloumi Cheese

For the zuchini fritters

  • zuchini 3
  • chaloumi cheese 200gr/ 7oz
  • flour
  • eggs
  • graviera grated cheese
  • breadcrumbs

For the yogurt sauce

  • greek yogurt 4tbs
  • tomato paste 2tbs
  • olive oil 1tbs
  • sugar 1tsp
  • salt
  • pepper
  • chopped dill ¼ cup


  1. Cut the zucchini in extra thin slices, cut the cheese in pieces and wrap it with the zuchini slices
  2. Hold together with toothpicks

3. Dip in flour, eggs, graviera grated cheese and breadcrumbs

4. Deep fry until they reach a golden colour

5. For the greek yogurt sauce mix up all the ingredients together in a bowl
