Feta cheese pie – easy to make recipe

A fast and delicious traditional cheese pie to start your day with.


1 packet of crust dough

21 oz / 600 gr feta cheese

4.5 0z / 125 gr butter

3 eggs

7 fl oz / 200 ml milk

Sesame seeds

Pinch of Thyme

Pinch of pepper


  • Preheat oven to 180* C (350* F)
  • Grease a 27 cm pyrex dish or oven proof dish
  • Place 2 dough sheets at the bottom of the pyrex
  • Grease the top sheet
  • Brake 3.5 oz of feta cheese by hand and sprinkle it over the dough sheet
  • Place 1 sheet of dough each time and repeat until the cheese is finished
  • At the last sheet add the thyme
  • Place 2 dough sheets on the top
  • In a bowl mix the eggs and the milk, add some pepper and whisk
  • Pure the mix over the pie and sprinkle with a generous amount of sesame seeds
  • Bake for 40-45 minutes until the tip turns golden brown
