http://www.greekliquidgold.comI am an American who grew up in Pennsylvania, attended Millersville University, earned my BA in English at Princeton, and completed my PhD in English at Duke. I have taught American literature, composition, and women’s studies at Duke, McGill, John Abbott College (near Montreal), and the University of Maryland University College (the latter online), as well as teaching English as a foreign language in Greek language schools and homes. I have edited various types of texts, from academic articles to the English-language descriptions on Exploring Greece, an ambitious online work in progress that has begun to provide vast amounts of detailed information (and photos) for tourists in Greece. I have presented papers at conferences in North America and Greece and published articles in academic books, reference books, and periodicals. I have been married to a wonderful Greek man for over 25 years, and we have two bilingual children who attend the Greek schools near our home. In August 2016 I created the Greek Liquid Gold: Authentic Extra Virgin Olive Oil website. I now write about the olive oil world in Greece for that website and other publications.
