In a year of global uncertainty and strife, one unlikely stock has flourished amidst it all. A mining company in Indonesia soared to heights unseen anywhere else on the planet, edging up an incredible 1,595 percent and proving there can still be growth even through turbulent times.

PT Adaro Minerals Indonesia has seen its stock move steadily since a high in April, standing out among global peers and delivering an impressive double-digit return on Bloomberg’s 2,803-member World Index.

Adaro’s unprecedented success story has been a wild ride for investors, who have watched its share price skyrocket three-fold since January. With an impressive close of 1,695 rupiahs and a market cap nearing $4.5 billion this week, the Indonesian company is becoming increasingly attractive to those in search of rewarding investments.

Adaro’s savviness in investing its profits into diverse industries, such as aluminum and battery production for electric vehicles, has paid off in the form of a thriving stock despite fluctuating coal prices worldwide.

The company experienced an amazing surge in financial success, with net profit leaping 482 percent over nine months and stock prices forecast to increase by a further 42 percent.

At the same time, average selling prices more than doubled alongside coal sales volume, which soared 41 percent. According to five analysts, this proves that the business is only getting stronger, says Bloomberg.

Through its several subsidiaries, PT Adaro Energy Indonesia TBK is involved in the integrated coal mining, logistics, and power sectors. It conducts its business using the following four divisions: coal mining and trading, mining services, logistics, and other operations.

The production and distribution of thermal coal are within the jurisdiction of the Coal Mining and Trading division.

The Mining Services division is responsible for providing services in the areas of exploration, drilling, transportation, logistical support, and the removal of overburden from mines.

Coal terminal operations, barging and ship loading, channel dredging, and maintenance contracts are the primary emphasis of the Logistics and Others section.

The current location of the company’s headquarters, which was established on July 28, 2004, is in Jakarta, Indonesia.

According to CNN Business, analysts predict PT Adaro Energy Indonesia TBK to be a good investment, with their twelve-month price forecasts having a median target of 14.72—an 18 percent surge from its current value.

The high estimate is at 17.52, and the lowest comes in at 10.56. Either way, investors are looking forward to positive returns on this stock down the line.

Investment analysts have been unwaveringly bullish on PT Adaro Energy Indonesia TBK since December with all fifteen surveyed recommending the stock be purchased.
