A new Netflix series, called A Perfect Story, is being filmed on Mykonos. It is based on a novel by Spanish award-winning writer Elísabet Benavent.
This best-selling story will hit the platform in the coming months and has just started filming on Mykonos and other locations throughout Greece. There will also be some scenes filmed in Madrid.
Marina Pérez has been in charge of the production, and Chloé Wallace acts as director.
The story is a romantic one like before but with a twist. Margot and David couldn’t be more different. She is the heir to a hotel empire, and he is a boy who has to make ends meet with three precarious jobs. They will meet and realize that only together can they help each other find the love of their lives.
Anna Castillo and Álvaro Mel are the ones who will put a face to Margot and David. In addition, Ana Belén, Lourdes Hernández (Russian Red), Ingrid García-Jonsson, Ane Gabarain, and Elena Irureta also appear in A Perfect Story.
Netflix series filmed in a quiet corner of Mykonos
Mykonos Live TV spotted the film crew at work at Mykonos’ Agios Sostis area, which is among the quietest beaches on the island due to its location. It is far-removed from the popular southern beaches of Mykonos.
This is an unspoiled area without any kind of amenities, a characteristic that evokes a feeling of total freedom. The beach stretches for about 250 meters, and visitors go down a small path to reach Agios Sostis.
