Over the weekend, Greece sent a planeload of humanitarian relief supplies gathered by Armenian organizations in the country, destined for the victims of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh).
The Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs responded to the request of Armenian Organizations in Greece (Armenian Relief Society, Armenian Blue Cross and Cross of Mercy Macedonia – Thrace) and the Embassy of Armenia in Athens to coordinate the transfer of tons of aid consisting of medical supplies and food.

The Greek Ministry of National Defense provided a transport aircraft, which landed in Armenia on Saturday.
The aid is primarily aimed towards the thousands of Armenians who became refugees after they were forced to abandon their homes at Artsakh following the Azeri military attack.
