Greece Records 85 New Coronavirus Deaths, New Cases Significantly Lower

Health authorities in Greece announced on Sunday evening that another 85 individuals had died in the last 24-hour period across the country due to the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic.
There are currently 553 intubated patients in the country’s hospitals, down from 577 on Saturday.
The number of new cases was 693, significantly lower compared to figures in the past several weeks.
Greece now mourns a total of 3625 individuals who lost their lives since the beginning of the global pandemic.
The entire country will remain under strict lockdown measures until January 7, 2021, with schools, cafes, bars, restaurants, and most of the retail shops remaining closed to the public.
