Greek-Australian singer, songwriter, and critically acclaimed guitarist Orianthi has just released a new solo album, titled “O”, which debuted on November 6.

This is the musician’s first new studio album in almost seven years. One of her previous albums, “According to You”, went Platinum, and currently has over 17 million streams on Spotify.

Orianthi, whose full name is Orianthi Penny Panagaris, is one of the most respected musicians in the rock world. In addition to past collaborations with music legends including Michael Jackson, Alice Cooper, Carlos Santana, John Mayer and ZZ Top, she was also named one of the twelve greatest female guitarists of all time by “Elle” magazine in 2009.

The album “O” was recorded in a total of 28 days. Orianthi emphasized that she wanted to keep it very authentic and inspired, to make audiences want to hear it live.

In her own words, she said, “the album O is a very inspired album….kept things pretty raw and didn’t overthink it. Marti and I wanted to create a unique sound and vibe with every track and we experimented a lot with synths and different guitar tones”.
