Greece to Affirm Friendship, Solidarity with Armenia in FM's Visit

The Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias will offer the country’s solidarity to Armenia which is under attack by Azerbaijan over Nagorno-Karabakh during his visit to Yerevan on Friday.
Dendias has started his visit by visiting the Tsitsernakaberd Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex and Armenian Genocide Museum.
“Starting my visit in Armenia, I paid tribute and laid flowers at the Armenian Genocide Memorial. I also visited the museum,” Nikos Dendias said on Twitter.


Dendias will meet with his Armenian counterpart, Zohrab Mnatsakanyan.
The talks, according to a foreign ministry statement, will focus on issues of bilateral, regional and international interest, with emphasis on current developments in Nagorno-Karabakh and the Eastern Mediterranean, cooperation between the two countries under trilateral cooperation schemes and EU-Armenian relations.
The foreign minister will then be received by the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, and the President of the country, Armen Sarkissian.
