It appears Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee has had enough of President Trump. In a recent interview with British newspaper “The Big Issue”, Lee expressed his frustration with current US politics, saying that if Trump wins, he’ll “go back to [his] motherland, go back to Greece and get a house on one of the islands.”

The Greek-American musician was actually born in Greece, but left with his family when he was just a year old. His father, David Lee Thomas Bass, was a US Army sergeant, while his mother was a Greek woman named Vassiliki Papadimitriou.

Lee has been critical of Trump before, and explained how he feels the US is being judged right now in the eyes of the world because of the President’s embarrassing antics. He also slammed the fact that US celebrity culture has taken over politics.

In the interview, Lee said other countries must be looking at the US and thinking, “stop voting for celebrities and get someone real to run the country.”

The drummer has always been proud of his Greek heritage, and with the increasing instability in US politics, he is not the first public figure to consider leaving the country if Trump wins.

Meanwhile, he has a new project coming up for fans that he completed in quarantine. His new solo album, “ANDRO”, will be released on Friday, October 16.
