The prosecutor of the Athens Appeals Court in the case of the Golden Dawn party on Tuesday proposed 13-year jail terms for the leadership of the neo-Nazi organization, including its leader Nikos Michaloliakos.
Prosecutor Adamantia Economou also proposed life imprisonment for Giorgos Roupakias, who stabbed and killed Greek rapper Pavlos Fyssas.
Lighter sentences were proposed for the rest of the accused.
The court will now hear the case of the defense lawyers before it issues its final ruling, most likely on Thursday.
The court, which ruled last Wednesday that the neo-Nazi Golden Dawn party is a criminal organization, also ruled on Monday that its leadership is not eligible for leniency.
