Greece: 240 Covid Cases, 4 Deaths on Saturday

Greece announced 204 new cases of the coronavirus and 4 deaths from the virus on Saturday.
Of the new cases, 42 are linked to confirmed outbreaks, while 34 were recorded during testing of visitors at Greece’s points of entry.
In total, Greece’s cases since the start of the pandemic number 14,978. Over half, 55.7%, are men. Cases linked to international travel make up 17.2% of known cases, and 42% are connected to contact with an already confirmed case.
As of Saturday, 65 patients with the virus are currently intubated in Greek hospitals. The median age of these patients is 69, and 86.2% of them are over the age of 70 or have underlying health problems.
Just 21 of the 65 intubated patients are women.
Saturday’s four recorded deaths bring the total number of those who have passed away with the virus in Greece to 331.
The median age of those who lost their lives with the virus is 78, and over 98% of them were over the age of 70 or had an underlying health condition.
