Greece Announces 241 Coronavirus Cases, Five Deaths on Thursday

On Thursday, the Greek national public health authority, EODY, announced that there were 241 new cases of Covid-19 diagnosed across the country, and five new deaths, in the last 24 hours.
Just 31 of these new cases were found during routine testing of visitors at Greece’s borders and points of entry.
Out of the 241 cases, 118 were located in Attica, making it the region with the most new diagnoses of the coronavirus.
The total number of cases in the country, including all those who have recovered from the disease, is 10,998; a total of 278 people have died with the virus.
As of Thursday, 39 patients suffering from the coronavirus are intubated in Greek hospitals.
