Greek health authorities have decided that travelers from Romania and Bulgaria arriving to Greece must present negative Covid-19 test results otherwise they will not be allowed to enter the country.
The measure will apply from the morning of Tuesday, July 28, until August 4. The required PCR tests must have been performed up to 72 hours before their arrival to Greece.
Excluded from the measure are Greek citizens, holders of residence permits, and those who travel for essential reasons.
At the same time, travelers from the above countries must complete the Passenger Locator Form (PLF) at least 24 hours before arrival.
As the General Secretariat for Civil Protection points out, the government – in cooperation with the competent services – continuously analyzes and evaluates Covid-19 data, so that the opening to foreign visitors can be done safely and without risk to public health.
