Raise Your Voice Festival 2020 Goes Digital

Raise Your Voice Festival 2020, the first digital festival against human trafficking and climate change is set to take place digitally between April 24 and 26 in Greece.
The festival is coordinated by 53 civil society organisations from Greece and beyond and organised by a team of volunteers who have been working throughout the year.
The public who will participate will be able to navigate in the festival channels to see the participation of more than 50 artists through selfie-videos at the Art & Costume Exhibition.
Additionally, they will be able to enjoy dancers and musicians on the ”Stage” section of the digital festival, the testimonies of NGOs at the Human Rights Stories and fashion designers creations at the Sustainable Designers Studio.
According to their press release, all participants share the message ”Make the Connection among your everyday life/professional choices and Human Trafficking, among everyday life choices and Climate Change.”
On the festival’s live channels, the organizers will broadcast their roundtable discussion with Greek politicians and representatives of the society as well as renown journalists, actors and designers.
“The Festival is not something that will only last for 2 days and then will pass. Its message will last. We do not speak only with words, through our mouths, we speak through our actions,” Member of the European Parliament and Actor Alexis Georgoulis said about the festival.
“Through this global pause, we felt how connected we are and how fast pain can be transferred among us. We saw nature and animals blossoming as we were forced to shut down all our engines. We are all connected. In an ecosystem that is suffering no one can be sane” Dr Fiori Zafeiropoulou, Country Coordinator Fashion Revolution & Raise Your Voice Festival stated on the occasion of the announcement of the festival.
