It seems that Tina Fey is unstoppable this year, as she has sold her second show, an animated series titled “Mulligan”, in just the first three months of 2020.
Fey has already been slated to produce a new comedy for NBC’s brand new streaming service, “Peacock”. The comedy is about a has-been 90s girl group titled “Girls5Eva”.
Just recently in March, it was announced that Fey and writing and producing partner Robert Carlock sold their animated series “Mulligan” to Netflix.
The show is somewhat post-apocalyptic. It posits a world where an alien attack has destroyed much of society on Earth, and the few humans left have a chance to rebuild from scratch. The question is, will they get it right?
Fey and Carlock have worked together for years, on shows like “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” and “Great News”. This is the first animated series they will produce, and audiences are excited to see what the stellar comedy writing and producing pair come up with for Netflix.
