Steven Marshall, the Premier of South Australia, sacked MP Sam Duluk from the Liberal Parliamentary party last week following his failure to “come clean” over allegations made against him by the South Australian MP for Best, Connie Bonaros.

The female legislator, who is of Greek descent, represents her riding in the Senate, the upper house of the South Australian Parliament.

Duluk is accused of inappropriate behavior against Bonaros during a pre-Christmas party which took place last year.

The fact that Australian police launched a new investigation on the issue led the Premier to announce his decision.

”I’m very disappointed with Sam Duluk, who I don’t think has come clean with me on the actions that took place on the 13th of December,” the South Australian Premier noted in his statement last week.

Bonaros has not yet made any public statements regarding the launch of a fresh investigation by the police.
