Greek Super League Derbies End in Draws


Panathinaikos and Olympiacos shared an 1-1 draw in the Greek version of el clasico on Sunday at the Athens’ Olympic Stadium, whereas PAOK saved a point equalizing against Aris deep in injury rime in the Thessaloniki derby.
Panathinaikos left it very late to salvage a point against eternal rivals Olympiacos. A penalty kick by Yohan Mollo on the 90th minute cancelled Miguel Angel Guerrero magnificent strike in the first half.


Josip Misic was the derby hero for PAOK after he struck in the sixth minute of added time to secure a 2-2 draw for the reigning Super League champions against Thessaloniki rivals Aris, in what turned out to be a thrilling “Derby of Macedonia” at the Toumba.

On Saturday, AEK made it three wins in a row after a hard-fought victory against Panetolikos at Agrinion. Marko Livaja scored the only goal of the game in the second half.
