Turkey's Erdogan Threatens to Allow Migrants to Enter Europe

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan threatened on Thursday that he will open the gates for migrants to flow freely into the European Union if he doesn’t get what he is asking for in Syria.
The Turkish president made his remarks during a speech he gave in front of members of his ”Justice and Development” (AKP) party on Thursday in Turkey.
Erdogan is demanding international support to create what he calls a ”buffer zone” between Syria and Turkey.
The Turkish president wants to send more than one million refugees who currently live in Turkey to a ”safe zone,” which will be created near the Turkish-Syrian border.
According to Turkish media reports, President Ergodan allegedly said that Turkey will be forced to open the gates for refugees and migrants to travel to Europe, since Turkey ”cannot be forced to handle the burden alone.”
