The Greek national basketball team won the game against Italy on Friday, during the first day of the ”Acropolis” basketball tournament that takes place in Athens.
With an amazing performance, the Greeks beat the Italians with a score 83-63 and showed great determination, only two weeks before the crucial Basketball World Cup, that will take place in China.

Antetokounmpo brothers, Giannis and Thanasis played very well, along with the great performance of Nick Kalathes.
On Saturday, Greece will play against Turkey for the second day of the tournament, while Italy will face the team of Serbia.

Among the spectators who enjoyed Greece’s performance was the American ambassador to Greece, Geoffrey Pyatt.
The Ambassador uploaded some pictures of the game on his personal Twitter account, noting that the Antetokounmpo brothers have brought to the Greek team ”that NBA style”.
