Two Bicyclists Dead, four Injured in Ptolemaida Car Crash

Two people who were riding bikes died on Sunday after a car hit them near the city of Ptolemaida in Greece’s West Macedonia region.
The car hit a total of six bikers on the road that connects the city of Ptolemaida with the nearby town of Ardassa.
The fatal accident took place around one o’clock in the afternoon local time.
At least three ambulances of Greece’s EKAB emergency service rushed to the scene.
All of the people involved in the accident were immediately transferred to Ptolemaida’s ”Bodosakio” Hospital.
The director of the Hospital George Chiotidis made a statement informing the press that two of the six unfortunate bikers died.
The remaining four remain hospitalized without any threatening-to-life conditions.
