Train Hits Bus in Athens; No Casualties Reported

An Athens suburban train, also known as Proastiakos, collided with a bus full of passengers early Friday morning at the Liosia neighborhood of the Greek capital.
No one was hurt in the accident, according to police and medical staff sent to the scene.
According to reports, passengers disembarked in shock as the train hit the bus on its rear.
Witnesses said that the train driver’s ability to slow down the vehicle significantly before impact was instrumental in limiting the damage.
It was not clear which of the two vehicles got in the way of the other. Police is investigating the cause of the accident.
